Due to the large number of requests for part number research, we are now offering this as a fee based service.

We have over 250 GM original parts books, and many "parts history" books to help us give you the best information available.

Our price for researching a part is $5.00 for each part number.  We will do the following for you.

• Look in the parts books we feel appropriate for the part number supplied. (make, and era)

• Supply you with a accurate description and application for the part number(s).

What we need from you

• Description of the part.
• GM Part number, (casting numbers may also help occasionally)
• Group number, (this may appear as grp. no., an example is 2.682)  Without this number, a extra charge will be applied.
• Any information which you may have, such as possible applications, make, markings, etc.
• In cases of potential multiple applications, please let us know which make (examples, Oldsmobile, Pontiac) you would prefer us to investigate.
• Credit Card information from our secure web page, or other method of payment agreed upon before research will be done.

Terms

• Price is $5.00 for each part number successfully researched.
• Parts history information will be extra.
• Multiple part application lookups will also be extra. Example Oldsmobile, and Pontiac.
• If we are unsuccessful at researching your part, you will not be charged.

We will try to do this in a timely manner, but please be patient.  It may take over a week to get this information, depending on the location of the needed information, and our workload.

Part Number Research

Click on the "Buy Now" button, you will go through our secure checkout.  After the checkout you will be able to submit the part numbers of the part you wish to ID, or list parts which you would like the part number for.
